Restaurant Nubar: Reviews & Ratings
Very nice owner; went with 4 teens 18-19; two vegetarians; they all liked it. Food was good; deserts very good. No air conditioning but did have fans. Had two floors and spiral staircase to go up to second floor.we had sodas, bottle water, beer. Humus, wrapped vine leaves, falafel , three fritters (delicious) pictured …
Excellent Dinner at Nubar! Very Friendly and kind waitress. Good Information about what to order. 10/10 Very Recommended.
update: Mixed feelings about my second visit. Hummus with beef is good. Sausage also not bad. But the fish tagine is a huge disappointment. For $15 I don’t see the ‘fillet de poisson’ promised on the menu. It’s just a little bit of fish scattered in a too oily sauce that’s clearly remicrowaved (some parts are warmer than the others). Unfortunately I don’t think I’ll come back. Amazing beef tartare and taboulé!!
